Tubes

The internet used to be a series of tubes, but now it's a series of bubbles.

I like tubes, but I don't know if there's enough time to work on them. You have to pick your battles.

Something was lost with the move from Tubes to Silicon. With Tubes, they can be made in a garage. With Silicon, it requires much more complex equipment, and even then you are limited in what you can make (you won't be making CPUs).
